Hilma af Klint, an artist ahead of her time and who time traveled through her abstract pieces, is one of the most remarkable artists in art history and a pioneer of the abstract art movement during a time where women artists were not common and often disregarded. The monumental group Ten Largest explored the different stages of human life: childhood, youth, adulthood, and old age. These magnificent works, along side Klint herself, are celebrated across the globe but, had Klint presented her abstract paintings during her lifetime, a radical art form for the time, they were sure to be heavily criticized.
